On Feb. 2, 2020, Latina superstars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez offered a spectacular halftime show to Super Bowl spectators. Whether it was art or not is apparently up to debate. Yet with the debate has come an alarming cacophony of racist and sexist judgment. After all, we had two Latina women on stage making bold political statements.
